Kayla originally joined MVS in January 2019 and then returned in November 2023. She graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics in 2017. Kayla has worked in rescues in both Illinois and Wisconsin and served as the general manager of a dog boarding and daycare facility in Madison during her hiatus from MVS. Her interests include reading, spending time outdoors with her daughter, and competing in dog sports with her beagles, who are titled in fastCAT and barn hunt. Among her pets are three beagles named Cleo, Bubba, and Bea, as well as a tabby cat named Wrigley.
